We have an immediate opening for an MRI certified experienced technician for our facility in Jersey City New Jersey

JOB TITLE:  lead technician for MRI /Radiology

Qualifications

MRI certification to perform MRIs in NJ required 

ARMRT certification

ARRT certification

At least three years of experience as an independent MRI technician operating 1.5 Tesla GE SIGNA explorer MRI machine

knowledge of protocols for MRI of the spine, abdomen musculoskeletal  system

Duties and responsibilities

Hours of work 

9-5 Weekdays Mon- Friday 

1-Ensuring proper functioning daily of the MRI machine

2-sending daily phantom shots to the physicist assigned

3-keeping a log of all patients tested daily 

4- sending the studies with proper labeling, proper diagnoses to the assigned PACS and the assigned docto

5- following all protocols

6-communicating with the medical director, and reading radiologists in case of any Emergent question regarding Mri procedures

7- labeling diagnoses and proper studies daily before sending toPACS

8-following all ACR guidelines as advised by the physicist

BENEFITS 
Hourly rate$ 60-65Per hour

SALARY COMMENSURATE ON EXPERIENCE 

The rate will increase Every year and is dependent on performance

Requirements
