The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a dynamic Radiologist to join our growing Division of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics (MIT). This is an outstanding opportunity to practice at one of the nation’s top public universities, renowned for excellence in patient care, research, and education.

With a rapidly expanding theranostic program, we are looking for a faculty member who not only delivers excellent clinical care but also brings vision and leadership to program development.
The Position
- Open rank, fixed-term faculty appointment (Instructor through Professor, commensurate with experience).
- Clinical focus on Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, including PET/CT (with cardiac PET/CT), SPECT/CT, PET/MR, and radionuclide therapy.
- Opportunities to contribute to multidisciplinary conferences, resident and fellow education, and cutting-edge research.
- Access to world-class facilities, including a GMP-compliant cyclotron and advanced radiochemistry labs at UNC’s Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC).
- Hybrid work arrangements may be considered, consistent with UNC policy.
Ideal Candidate
- Board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine(or international equivalent).
- Fellowship-trained in Nuclear Medicine (or with equivalent clinical expertise).
- Strong interest in theranostics and operational program growth.
- Commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarship.
