The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a dynamic Radiologist to join our growing Division of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics (MIT). With a rapidly expanding theranostic program, we are looking for a faculty member who not only delivers excellent clinical care but also brings vision and leadership to program development.
The Position
- Open rank, fixed-term faculty appointment (Instructor through Professor, commensurate with experience).
- Clinical focus on Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, including PET/CT (with cardiac PET/CT), SPECT/CT, PET/MR, and radionuclide therapy.
- Opportunities to contribute to multidisciplinary conferences, resident and fellow education, and cutting-edge research.
- Access to world-class facilities, including a GMP-compliant cyclotron and advanced radiochemistry labs at UNC’s Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC).
- Hybrid work arrangements may be considered, consistent with UNC policy.
Ideal Candidate
- Board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine(or international equivalent).
- Fellowship-trained in Nuclear Medicine (or with equivalent clinical expertise).
- Strong interest in theranostics and operational program growth.
- Commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarship.
