Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Safely and effectively perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule.
2. Perform preventive maintenance on machines to include lubricating, changing fluids, changing filters and repairing worn or damaged parts.
3. Troubleshoot and make repairs to machine components.
4. Set up molding machine and ancillary equipment, as related to the molding process.
5. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
6. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification
Level Required:
High school diploma or equivalent

Level Desired:

Vocational or Technical Degree

Work Experience
Required:
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Previous overhead crane experience

Desired:
• 2-5 years of plastic molding experience
• Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting
• Electrical troubleshooting

Travel Requirements
• 10% or less
• Must have ability to travel to and from Urbana plant locations, as requested

Work Schedule
• 3/2 rotating schedule

• Day Shift: 6am - 6pm

• Night Shift: 6pm - 6am
