Description
Overview
Our team is looking for a seasoned therapist who enjoys working with adults and a client population with care needs ranging from existential challenges to trauma. The ideal therapist is centered, is a person of integrity and embodies warmth and an energy of ease with a kindhearted sense of humor as they help clients work through some of life’s more painful moments. They are also knowledgeable and sensitive to all our client’s unique and diverse needs, including those who identify as LGBTQ+. Their clinical experience includes working with clients who have experienced trauma, and they’ve been trained in practicing several of the following modalities: Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, EFT/Tapping, Grief/ Loss, Mindfulness, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Pet Assisted Therapy.
Wednesday Team Meetings: Caring for our Clients and Supporting Each Other
Each Wednesday, we close the practice for an hour to meet as a team to determine our clients’ most effective course of personalized treatment. A client may be working with one therapist to address individual and family needs while working with another therapist on our team to participate in EMDR or EFT tapping. This integrative team approach is crucial to the care of our clients and assists with their sense of support and emotional safety within our practice. This approach to treatment also provides a weekly space to broaden our clinical knowledge and to grow and connect as a practice team who supports and enjoys one another.
We Invite Therapist Candidates Who:

Have a minimum of five years of experience working with adults, specializing in a whole-person approach and trauma – informed therapies
