Description

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining the overall email marketing program for the National Gallery of Art. In addition, the person in this position leads on marketing our educational, membership, and retail programs to ensure that brand strategy goals are met.

The Marketing Specialist:

• Designs and creates compelling email content, including newsletters, promotional emails, and transactional messages.
• Assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including creating content, managing social media, and tracking results.
• Creates, designs, and optimizes various email lists, templates, and campaigns.
• Designs and implements an overall email marketing strategy and messaging.
• Writes newsletters and proofreads for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
• Develops and executes successful email marketing strategies that drive engagement.
• Identifies target audiences and grows email list.
