Description

Senior Manager, Procurement; Rohr Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace (Chula Vista, CA). 30% travel, mostly nat'l travel, some internat'l travel to France & Germany. Assess new & existing suppliers & assess poor performers to pinpoint & address supplier deficiencies to drive risk mitigation & improve processes in supply base. Must have at least bach degree or equiv in Economics, Business, Finance or rltd & at least 10 yrs prog. exp as Procurement Specialist, Strategic Sourcing Specialist; Program Mgmt Specialist or rlt role working directly w/ suppliers (OR a master's +7). Must also possess at least 7 yrs exp: managing execution of process improvements & deployment of delivery assurance systems; managing multiple projects & driving collaboration; w/ in procurement in aerospace or similar industries, vendor mgmt, materials mgmt, Risk Assessment/ Mitigation; & 5 yrs of exp w/: leading teams; eng'g &/or operations exp; & 3 yrs exp w/: ERP systems software; in developing tools and processes to drive efficiencies w/ in Supply Chain processes; & demonstrable knowledge in Supply Chain Mfg methodologies.
