Description
This is not an entry-level position. You must have 3-5 years of experience preparing business valuation reports for divorce, shareholder disputes, RSUs, mergers & acquisitions, and/or purchase price allocations, and must be a CFA charterholder, or have passed Level 3 pending charter.
Other valuation credentials, such as ABV or ASA, are highly desirable.
We seek an experienced Business Valuation Analyst to contribute their knowledge, insights, and innovative problem-solving abilities to our team of passionate forward-thinkers.
You will work alongside seasoned business valuation professionals who thrive on tackling complex assignments, engaging in high-level financial analysis, and clearly communicating sophisticated valuation concepts in an understandable way to clients and other non-financial professionals. This role is for someone who enjoys both the intellectual challenge and the practical application of advanced valuation methodologies.

Requirements
- Conduct detailed business valuations using the income, asset, and market approaches, incorporating methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, guideline public company analysis, et. al
- Review financial statements and historical financial information to develop valuation conclusions
- Prepare and review comprehensive valuation reports that adhere to professional standards
- Analyze revenue and expense projections, profitability trends, and financial models
- Research industry trends, economic factors, and market data to support valuation conclusions
- Provide technical review of business valuation reports
- Prepare economic damage financial models
- Collaborate with senior team members to deliver expert opinions and insights
- Communicate findings effectively, both verbally and in written form to clients
