Description
What you'll do:- Manage the accounting and reporting for stock-based compensation, including assigning fair values, expense recognition, and related disclosures.
- Take full ownership of journal entries, going beyond simple review to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the accounting for the annual bonus plan, ensuring accurate accruals and comparison to payouts.
- Manage the accounting for employee benefits-related accruals, including medical, 401k, and other benefits.
- Oversee the accounting for pension plans, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
- Research and resolve complex accounting issues, including the interpretation and application of US GAAP.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
What you'll have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on technical accounting and complex issue resolution.
- Experience managing direct reports and fostering professional growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP.
- Proven ability to research and interpret accounting pronouncements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What could set you apart:
- CPA or Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with Oracle SaaS or a similar large-scale ERP system is a plus.
- Experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
