Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality mammograms to assist in the diagnosis of disease or trauma, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography exams following established protocols and MQSA standards.
• Program and adjust imaging equipment for optimal density, contrast, definition, magnification, and minimal distortion.
• Prepare, maintain, and operate mammography equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
• Complete and document all QA/QC tests as required by MQSA.
• Provide excellent patient care and education during procedures.
• Work on the Mobile Mammography Van as needed, including some weekends.
   

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Non-Degree Program : Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. (Required)

Experience

• 2 Years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position (Required)
• 1 Year experience in Mammography (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• RT(R)(M) - Reg Technologist (R) (M) (Required)
• MSQA - Mammo Quality Stand Act Req (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
