Collaborating with a reputable hospital in central Georgia that has an opportunity for an Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts
• Call shifts required
• Case Types: Bread & butter, general, OB, and endo
• 8 ORs
• 1:4 supervision, but may perform own cases if needed
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, listen to live music at venues celebrating the city's rich soul heritage, kayak or paddleboard along scenic rivers, and stroll through rose gardens and tree-lined paths in sprawling public parks.

Rate: $300 per hour

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Anesthesiologist Georgia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an Anesthesiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
