Description

Parking Attendants are responsible for directing vehicles on where to park or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area;

• Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
• Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
• Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts
• Greet guests and welcome them to Alpine Valley
• Issue ticket stubs, or place numbered tags on windshields, and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles
• May calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests
• Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas
• Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show
• Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
• May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas
• Assist patrons by giving directions to places inside or outside the venue
• Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue
• Other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor

Requirements

• Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting
• Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional clear and concise fashion
• Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs
• Employees must be 15 years or older for this position
