About This Role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager. This is a high-impact role with visibility across senior leadership and influence over key financial systems. You will help drive product vision and roadmap for a platform that integrates financial performance, client behavior, and risk data to support pricing, coverage, and profitability strategies. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in financial services, a strong understanding of data and analytics, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex, regulated environment.,
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead product management for a highly technical and data-intensive platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial metrics.
- Drive strategic solutions that are scalable, long-term, and responsive to business dynamics.
- Define and communicate product vision, scope, and priorities; manage the product backlog and ensure delivery of high-value features.
- Collaborate across functions, including Finance, Risk, Technology, and Analytics teams, to gather and refine requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Champion data quality and usability, leveraging data profiling and analysis to inform product decisions.
- Lead agile ceremonies and ensure continuous delivery of value through iterative development.
- Enhance existing applications based on user feedback, business needs, and performance insights.
- Document and communicate product features, workflows, and decisions clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Profitability or Pricing applications in a financial context.
- 3+ years of FP&A experience, including deep understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and profitability metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel for data analysis and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for building dashboards and visual reports.
- Strong critical thinking and change management skills.
- Strong understanding of data profiling and data quality.
- Experience presenting financials and insights to senior leadership.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Experience working with global delivery teams across time zones and cultures
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a data-driven profitability metrics focused environment.
- Strong background in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Experience in Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Willingness to take ownership of complex problems and drive them to resolution.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and evolving business needs.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on financial, regulatory, and technology trends.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse teams.
Job Expectations
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Must be willing to work on site at one of the locations listed
- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days a week on-site/in office and 2 days a week remote.
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite. Location preference is Charlotte.
