Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal and steel building construction and demonstrate strong physical stamina, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently as part of a team. Prior construction experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction and assembly of metal and steel buildings.
• Perform general labor tasks, including tool use, lifting, material handling, and job site cleanup.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools, especially those used in steel construction.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to designated on-site areas.
• Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and temporary work structures.
• Assist in positioning, securing, and bolting steel components and framing systems.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with site-specific rules, even when strict or limiting.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in construction or general labor is required.
• Experience with metal and steel building construction is a strong plus.
• A basic understanding of blueprints and construction plans is an advantage.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for long periods in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Willingness to follow all on-site rules and procedures, even if they are restrictive.
