SUMMARY:
The Investment Specialist plays a key role within Kestra Investment Management (KIM), a division of Kestra Holdings. Reporting to the Head of Business & Sales Strategy, this role is responsible for driving advisor engagement and adoption of KIM’s investment solutions across Kestra’s distribution channels—including Kestra Financial, Kestra Private Wealth Services, and Bluespring Wealth Partners.
You will serve as a trusted partner to financial professionals by educating them on KIM’s investment models, portfolio construction strategies, and operational processes. Through proactive outreach and strategic relationship management, you will help increase advisor adoption, grow assets under management, and ensure KIM offerings align with advisor and client needs. You will also act as a liaison between advisors and the investment team, advocating for enhancements that expand the platform’s value.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively reach out to financial professionals to introduce and educate them on KIM’s investment solutions and services.
Build strong relationships with advisors to understand their investment philosophy and needs to identify areas where partnering with KIM can provide value to help grow their business.
Collaborate with home office teams to generate leads and drive adoption of KIM’s offerings.
Provide portfolio insights and market commentary, and consult on investment models, portfolio construction, and allocation strategies.
Respond to advisor and client inquiries with timely and accurate support, analysis, and recommendations.
Manage the sales process and onboarding of new accounts to grow assets under management and expand advisor relationships.

Position is located in Austin, TX office. Must be able to work in the office during scheduled work hours with potential to travel to advisor offices as needed.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
3+ years of experience in wealth management required; experience working with independent advisors preferred.
Investment-related technology and tools: Morningstar Direct, Fact Set.
Portfolio construction using model portfolios and strategies for investment recommendations.
Meeting sales goals and driving results.
CERTIFICATIONS:
FINRA Series 7 and FINRA Series 66 Required.
