About Ascension Saint Thomas Heart
Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is one of the most experienced cardiac programs in the nation. Our program
includes more than 75 cardiologists and 9 cardiac surgeons in addition to almost 100 APPs serving a large
regional network of more than 45 practice locations throughout Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. Ascension
Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add an additional talented and ambitious interventional cardiologist to work
alongside our team of 3 other interventional cardiologists as well as an invasive, non-interventional
cardiologist and one electrophysiologist to expand our practice in Gallatin, Tennessee. The candidate will need
to be fellowship trained in interventional cardiology, possess a strong work ethic, be a team player, and serve
as an ambassador for Ascension Saint Thomas Heart and the Cardiovascular Service Line.

Gallatin, Tennessee, just 20 minutes from Nashville, is packed with things to do for its 40,000 residents.
Camping, boating, swimming, hiking and fishing at Old Hickory Lake and living historical sites like the
downtown Palace Theater for movies and concerts are all available. An outstanding parks system, a
growing greenway and access to mountain bike trails, a skate park and more makes Gallatin attractive to those
who love the outdoors. It is a city filled with young professionals and big-name businesses such as Amazon,
AllianceBernstein, Ernst & Young, Lyft and Warby Parker. Facebook has recently announced plans to build a

The Practice
Join an established interventional cardiology group as the service line expands
Internal multi-specialty referral network
Interventional Cardiologist to work in the clinic, make rounds in the hospitals, and be part of the call rotation
Call Rotation 1:4
Collaboration with other interventional cardiologist in-person and virtually
Opportunity to participate in clinical research
Compensation Package May Include

Requirements
BC/BE in Cardiology
Strong work ethic and team player
Serve as an ambassador for Ascension Saint Thomas Heart and the Cardiovascular Service Line
Experience strongly preferred
