Description
The Division of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Louisiana State University seeks candidates for an instructor position, starting Fall 2025, to offer freshman-, sophomore-, and junior-level introductory courses in digital logic, microprocessors, circuits, and related topics, and to guide senior-level students through capstone design classes. Special consideration will be given to those who can bring design experience and creative enthusiasm to capstone design instruction and those who can appeal to a diverse student population. Anticipated teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
90% -Teaching - To teach undergraduate courses in the electronics area of electrical engineering.
10% - Other duties as assigned by the chair.
Requirements
A candidate must have completed an M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a closely related area by August 2025. A candidate must demonstrate mastery of undergraduate material in some of the areas listed above. A candidate must have some teaching experience. Industrial experience and exposure to development projects are desirable but not required. Teaching and any instructional experience should be detailed in the CV.
