Description
A steel manufacturer in New Hampshire is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Industrial Psychologist to join our dynamic team. The Industrial Psychologist will
be responsible for applying psychological principles and research methods to
improve employee well-being, organizational effectiveness, and overall
productivity. This role involves a blend of analytical thinking, strategic planning,
and practical implementation within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Organizational Development: Design and implement interventions to
enhance organizational structure, culture, and processes, ensuring
alignment with business goals.
Talent Management: Develop and administer assessment tools for
employee selection, placement, and promotion. Create and evaluate
performance appraisal systems.
Training & Development: Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs
focused on leadership development, team building, conflict resolution, and
other relevant workplace skills.
Employee Relations: Address issues related to employee morale,
motivation, and job satisfaction. Facilitate communication and collaboration
within teams.
Research & Analytics: Conduct research using quantitative and qualitative
methods to identify organizational needs, evaluate program effectiveness,
and inform decision-making.
Change Management: Lead and support change initiatives within the
organization, helping employees adapt to new processes, technologies, or
structures.
Work-Life Balance: Implement programs and strategies to promote
employee well-being and a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications
Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a
related field from an accredited university.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Psychologist
role, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python).
Ability to conduct research and interpret data effectively.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training
programs.
Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
