We are excited to welcome an Industrial Maintenance Technician (internally known as Electro-Mechanic)to join our team! You'll help our rubber recycling facility be successful by ensuring all of the machines and equipment work well and share ideas to help improve the efficiency and reliability of our equipment.Shift: Mon-Thu (7a-5p)
Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00/hour, based on experience,
The Impact You'll Make:
- You'll be working with things such as PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- You'll be working on industrial machinery and supporting pieces of equipment that our employees use in their daily jobs at a rubber recycling facility
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected downtime.
- Diagnose malfunctions and determine the best adjustment or repair.
- Collaborate closely with Machine Operators to understand machine issues and leverage their knowledge to find solutions.
- Occasionally maintain and repair physical structure to our buildings and grounds, including snow removal, basic plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Associates degree in Electromechanics or related field;
OR an apprenticeship in Electromechanical Maintenance;
OR a high school diploma / GED and 2+ years of experience with electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine shop tools - 2+ years of experience with controls wiring (120/240/480 volts), AC and DC motor drive controls, multi-meter, amp-meter, oscilloscope, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Welding experience a plus
- Ability to work overtime as needed
