Homes for All AmeriCorps program provides the perfect opportunity to gain resume-boosting skills while helping families and households secure and maintain safe, healthy, affordable housing. An AmeriCorps position can also work as a practicum placement.
Matthew 25 AIDS Services - Bowling Green is seeking a member in a Housing Services position who can provide homeless services such as case management, housing navigation, and homelessness prevention.
AmeriCorps members commit to a one-year term of service beginning in August and serve 1200 hours by July 31st, 2026.

Preferred Skills:
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal form
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine documentation and correspondence. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills are essential in use of an electronic medical record.

1700 hours to be served by the individual by July 31st, 2026

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Works or relevant experience.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to engage and work effectively with diverse staff and client population is required.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in service driven environment.

- Flexibility, as our services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel
- Valid Driver's License with at least three (3) years driving experience and less than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- Willingness to provide information to complete and undergo a National Service Criminal History Check and pass a drug screen.
- Be at least 17 years of age at the start of service
- High school diploma or GED
- Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Follow HOME TBRA and HOPWA guidance given by Kentucky Housing Corporation and HUD.
- Place a high priority on learning and are committed to change and improvement in order to always best meet the needs of those we work alongside and serve.
