About the Role
This is a hands-on, on-site role for a physiotherapist with good manual therapy skills and a strong interest in chronic and complex presentations. You will:
- Be supported through full training in the Watson Headache® Approach and mentoring with some of Australia’s most experienced therapists.
- Assess and treat clients using targeted, evidence-informed techniques
- Develop and manage individualised treatment plans
- Monitor patient outcomes through structured follow-ups
- Collaborate with a team of highly specialised and research-active professionals

About Melbourne Headache Centre
Founded in 2012, we are a nationally recognised physiotherapy clinic dedicated to the assessment and treatment of the upper cervical spine and its role in:
- Migraine and other headache disorders
- Vestibular migraine and dizziness syndromes
- Chronic nausea, POTS, TOS, and post-concussion symptoms
We're also actively involved in clinical research having published the first-ever study into manual therapy for vestibular migraine with Dr Dean Watson and the University of South Australia.

Requirements
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
- Current AHPRA registration and professional insurance
- 3–5 years experience in private practice
- A strong desire to specialise in headache and migraine treatment
- Confidence working with chronic, complex, or unexplained conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Completion or Intention to complete the Watson Headache® Level 1 foundation course or higher
- Experience in TMJ, hypermobility disorders, vestibular rehab, or concussion
- Interest in nervous system-driven pain and/or dizziness conditions
