Overview

Dogwood Veterinary Hospital and Laser Center is excited to announce that we are searching for an Experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team! This position would be a mixture of GP weekday hours and weekend Urgent Care hours. We are looking for a way to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care. On the weekends, we will have single doctor shifts to treat urgent and non-emergent cases.

We are open to Full-time or Part-time Doctors.

Urgent Care offers unique scheduling opportunities and we are here for that!

Minimum hours would be one weekend a month (Sat/Sun) 12-hour shifts (8 a.m.-8 p.m.)- and we are open to explore combining GP weekday hours or additional UC hours to reach full-time.

About You:

• You're a well-rounded and energetic DVM looking for that sweet spot between primary care and emergency medicine.
• You enjoy the ability to fully work-up and treat a broad range of challenging cases that need urgent but not emergent care.
• You provide gold standard care for your patients and clients - as a life long learner, you stay on top of current treatment modalities.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; as well as a good sense of humor - that's what will help you thrive in our culture.
• You value schedule flexibility - you like to work hard AND play hard. You understand that your own self-care is critical to your patients' well-being.
• You can triage patients depending on the severity of cases.
• You can manage multiple patients of varying priorities.
