Description
OverviewTimberlin Golf Club is an 18-hole public facility that averages 45,000 rounds annually.
We invite you to be a part of the Timby family and enjoy working in a fun, friendly environment servicing our golfers.
The position of Golf Shop Attendant is the front line and first impression of our golf operation! We are seeking friendly, energetic, golf minded individuals with potential for growth within the club.
Experience Required
Previous experinece with golf shop counter would be a plus.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
- Personable, approachable, and socially engaging.
- Practice and promote name recognition.
- Posses' excellent communication skills and be willing to work hard.
- Answer phones with Timberlin greeting to answer questions or to schedule future tee times.
- Accurately record time and date of reservation in the online reservation system.
- Promote the speed of making tee time online.
- Keep tee sheet updated and make sure starter and outside staff are informed.
- Communicate up to date information accurately and effectively using radio communication to Starter, Cart Staff, DOG, or Ranger.
- Advise customers of any abnormal golf course conditions.
- Accurately open, operate, and close the point-of-sale system.
- Ability to balance cash register.
- Collect payment for green fee, range fee, cart fee, or season pass purchases.
- Payment can be with credit card or cash.
- Handle and count cash to make accurate change.
- Record credit card receipts.
- Record rain check usage.
- Inform Cart Staff when driving range balls are needed.
- Inform Ranger when a playing group is falling behind our pace of play standards.
- Assist in the daily cleaning of the Golf Shop.
- Keep work area neat, orderly, and professional looking.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
