Are you ready to make an impact in the dynamic world of credit trading? As a CLO Trader, you will be responsible for trading and managing Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) within our Global Credit Trading & Syndicate team. We offer a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and impactful contributions.The Global Credit Trading & Syndicate team is a leading market maker in credit derivatives and corporate bonds, providing liquidity and innovative solutions to clients. As part of this team, the Junior CLO Trader will focus on trading and managing CLOs, leveraging market insights and quantitative analysis to drive performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute trades in the CLO market, ensuring optimal pricing and risk management.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to support trading decisions.
- Collaborate with senior traders and sales teams to expand the client base and increase market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and counterparties.
- Monitor and manage risk associated with CLO positions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of trading strategies to optimize returns.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling.
- Understanding of credit markets and structured finance products, particularly CLOs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with trading platforms.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Prior experience in credit trading or structured finance is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in trading.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
