General Thoracic Surgery at WVU:
The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute is actively recruiting a board-certified/eligible thoracic surgeon to join our rapidly growing General Thoracic Surgery Division. Eligible candidates will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
The successful candidate will practice the full spectrum of general thoracic surgery. Subspecialty and academic interests, while not mandatory, will be facilitated by the Department to ensure future growth and development of the new faculty member.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship, or an integrated cardiothoracic residency with thoracic track, and be board eligible/certified. State medical licensure eligibility required.
