About the Opportunity
We’re currently hiring multiple Lead Underwriters across different niche programs within our Commercial Lines division. This is a rare chance to join a growing MGA and take ownership of a program in a high-demand industry. If you are technically strong, entrepreneurial, and passionate about building profitable books of business—this is the role for you.
We have four immediate Lead Underwriter openings, each with a unique industry focus:

What You’ll Do
As a Lead Underwriter at NIP Group, you will:
- Underwrite new business and renewals with a focus on profitability and growth.
- Set underwriting portfolio and distribution strategies for your assigned program.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to ensure program competitiveness.
- Build and manage strong broker, producer, and client relationships.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align program strategy with overall company goals.
- Analyze data, monitor industry best practices, and optimize portfolio performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for your line of business, expanding appetite and market share.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of commercial P&C underwriting experience, ideally with expertise in one of the listed industries.
- Proven track record of driving growth and underwriting profitability.
- Strong broker relationships and distribution management skills.
- Ability to design portfolio strategies and align cross-functionally with sales, operations, and marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and solution orientation.
