Ideally, we are looking for a vet with over two years of experience, a kind empathetic vet, and a real team player who wants the best for patients and practice but they will also look at a New Grad.

They don’t believe in working their vets into the ground they want you to be at your best when it matters most.
They are located within a 15-minute drive to 3 specialist practices who are always willing to assist with help and advice with any cases and encourage visits to their facilities. They also run continuing education seminars and conferences.
They’re interested in improving all their vets and investing in them. Because it’s mutually beneficial. They love what they do. And that makes them better vets. They collaborate, they discuss cases, and they learn from each other.
The majority of their cases are vaccinations, skin issues, ears, lumps, lameness, dental issues, acute illness, and chronic illness. They offer the gold standard of treatment to all theirclients; it’s the care they are bothered about the most without you having to worry about any set monetary targets or number of procedures that need to be performed.
Working hours: You can work a 76hr fortnight. Either 4 daysof 9.5 hr a week structured so has a 4 day weekend every 2nd and a 2 day weekend the other. OR 5 x 7.6 hr days with 2 starts at 8:30 and 3 starts at 10:30 a week. There will be sole charge some of the time depending on experience.
Requirements
To have ideally 2-3 years experience in a small animal practice. A veterinary degree registrable in Queensland with the Veterinary Surgeons Board. To be able to obtain the Radiation Health Use Licence to use a radiation ionising unit to take radiographs.
