Arrowhead Country Club – Food and Beverage Supervisor
Reports to: Food and Beverage Director
Job Summary
Responsible for the daily food and beverage service throughout the facility. Ensure consistent, timely and personalized food and beverage service to members and their guests. Supervise and train F&B Service Team ongoing for constant improvement. Hires, trains, schedules, and evaluates F&B Service Team. Collaborate with the Culinary Team.
Experience and Competencies
Five years of food and beverage service experience.
Three years of dining room supervisory experience in full-service restaurant, hotel or private club.
Proficient working knowledge of POS system.
Alcohol beverage certification.
SERV Safe - Food safety certification.
Job Duties
Perform required role during short staff situations.
Designs floor plans according to reservations with F&B Service Team.
Plans for the dining room set-up based on anticipated guest counts.
Takes reservations, checks table reservation schedules and maintains reservations log.
Greets and seats members and their guests.
Inspect what is expected, actively and genuinely engaged.
Confirms time, attendance and hours worked.
Performs daily POS closeout and tip distribution requirements.
Receives and resolves complaints concerning food service or member experience.
Ensures that all side-work is accomplished according to schedule.
Leads pre-shift meetings with F&B Service Team.
Ensures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of dining areas, and equipment.
Ensures service and beverage team are ready for service and in proper attire.
Ensure that dining areas and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day.
Ensures proper inventory of service and ensures that they are properly stored and accounted for.
Serve as club’s opening and closing manager or manager on duty.
Assists Food and Beverage Director in developing wine lists and beverage promotions.
Ensure that local and state laws for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
Preferred Education
A four-year college degree in Hospitality Management.
