Department: College of Science and Technology Salary: $12.00 per hour
Description:

The College of Science and Technology (CST) HPREP Office is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Federal Work-Study student to assist with administrative support and daily office operations. The student will also provide light support for coordinating events for the program.

Primary Duties:

• Answers phone calls
• Sorts and distributes incoming/outgoing mail and documents
• Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate offices or departments
• Supports meeting preparation, report distribution, and internal communications
• Assists with web content organization and light data updates
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be a current UHD student
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 semester credit hours
• Must be awarded Federal Work-Study funding through the UHD Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid
• Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail

Preferred (but not required):

• Interest or coursework in a STEM-related field (e.g., biology, computer science, mathematics, etc.)
• Comfort with using digital tools or learning basic website content management
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
