Description

Seeking a skilled fundraiser to serve as Development Lead under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania (NFP). We are looking for an independent contractor to serve via a contract that will be renewable monthly.

Requirements

If you are a successful candidate:

• You will have a proven track record in gift processing and data management so that you can collaborate effectively with NFP’s Board of Trustees, CEO, and Development Coordinator to solicit annual, major, and planned gifts; initiate pledge reminders; manage information flow; and process matching funds.
• You will research existing prospects and identify new ones, create prospect profiles, build and track contacts, travel to and meet with prospective donors, analyze donor records, and provide activity reports.
• You will create a development plan with measurable deliverables.
• You will prepare proposals and file contact reports.
• You will develop and execute cultivation strategies for mail, email, telephone, and event solicitations.
• You will research corporations, foundations, and individuals for grant monies.
• You will coordinate social media marketing and community building efforts.
• You will prepare and coordinate quarterly Board meetings and other meetings.
• You will analyze the results of the development activities and events and report those results to the Board and staff.
• You will have a bachelor's degree or greater, or successful experience of similar equivalence in non-profit administration, public administration or business administration. Masters and CFRE preferred.
• You will have a passion for non-profit excellence, the ability to work independently, and be highly organized and attentive to detail.
• You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to present information concisely.
• You will have exceptional interpersonal and social skills.
• You will be a motivated professional who stays current with best practices in the development field.
