Description
Job Description:We are seeking a technically-adept Data Business Analyst to join our team. Our team implements and supports the Nucleus product, the first data analytics platform built specifically for associations and nonprofits. As a Data Business Analyst, you'll work closely with both our clients and our internal team to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical project needs, scoping, and communication. Responsibilities will include supporting clients and teammates through initial implementation and platform adoption, reviewing & scoping support tickets, and assessing client requests to appropriately scope next steps.
Position Summary
- Analyzing client business rules and aligning them with baseline configuration options
- Solutioning client implementations based on client needs and platform architecture
- Scheduling and facilitating client meetings for site configuration and delivery
- Managing and tracking progress on client deliverables
- Reviewing client sites and usage metrics to proactively identify issues
- Working with client staff to encourage platform adoption and usage
- Reviewing and responding to support tickets and other client correspondence
- Partnering with our engineers to address client issues and verify solutions
- Analyzing data discrepancies and logic implementation
- Collaborating with data engineers on business rules and logic implementation
- Identifying opportunities to expand client subscriptions to meet additional data needs
- Surfacing client feedback and needs to product management
- Educating clients on product usage and best practices
- Documenting new product features and common support scenarios

Experience
- Preferably 2-4 years of client-facing business analyst and/or technical project management experience
- Has worked in a customer-facing role for at least 2 years, especially in a client support or client success capacity
- Has at least 3 years of experience collaborating with technical teams as a QA, BA, and/or PM
Computer Technical
- Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with programming languages (preferably SQL and Python) or comfortable working with programming queries
- Experience with data governance and business intelligence & analytics
- Demonstrated ability to learn and understand software applications

- Excellent relationship building skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable working with technical & non-technical clients and team members
- Familiarity with the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model preferred
- Experience supporting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) clients preferred
- Possesses an ingrained commitment to providing excellent client service
