Description

General Responsibilities:

Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in facilities, including terminals, offices, restrooms, and public areas, through trash removal, vacuuming, dust mopping, and wet mopping.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

Ability to read and interpret chemical labels and MSDS sheets, typically acquired through completion of High School or GED.
Training and experience in custodial care of commercial or public buildings.
Required Skills:

Working knowledge of modern methods for Environmental Services and facility cleaning.
Ability to learn and operate all cleaning equipment used by the department, including escalator cleaning machines, buffers, auto-scrubbing machines, upholstery/carpet cleaning machines, auto burnishers, and foam and steam extraction equipment.
