Description
Are you a creative powerhouse who thrives on variety and loves bringing ideas to life? WOOD TV8 and our sister stations are looking for a Creative Services Producer to lead exciting promotional initiatives across our broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing events, managing contests, and creating compelling content that connects with our community. We're seeking a dynamic individual who's part tech-savvy social video guru, part project manager, and all-around creative thinker. Bonus points if you're a skilled videographer and editor!Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Creative Services Director and departmental managers to develop and execute impactful station campaigns and special projects.
- Manage station contests and create promotional assets across platforms.
- Coordinate and execute station events and promotions, including The Weather Experience, Park Parties, parades, trade shows, Beautiful U, Remarkable Women, and more.
- Produce engaging social video content that brings our promotions to life across all brands.
- Support live remote television productions with behind-the-scenes content, social media reels, and interactive elements.
- Develop promotional content for woodtv.com to support station initiatives.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency.
- Represent the station professionally with community members, partners, and clients.
- Maintain organized workflows and strong project management practices.
- Ability to write, produce, light, shoot, and edit promos; motion graphics experience is a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities:
- Detail-oriented multitasker with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in video production for digital and social platforms.
- Experience with mobile editing apps and social media content creation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
- High energy, professional demeanor, and a collaborative spirit.
- Valid drivers license required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of related production experience.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
- Must be able to lift and transport production equipment (cameras, tripods, lights, etc.).
