Description

Oversee all dealership accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, GL, and financial reporting.
Prepare monthly financial statements and submit timely reports to ownership and manufacturer.
Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and manufacturer requirements.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Collaborate with department heads to analyze performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
Implement process improvements and systems upgrades as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
Strong knowledge of dealership financials, DMS systems (Reynolds & Reynolds ect.), and manufacturer reporting.
