Role Overview
As a Senior Associate / Junior VP, you will play a key role in originating and structuring consumer asset-based investments across various geographies. You'll be responsible for managing the full deal life cycle - from initial sourcing and negotiation to financial modeling, investment memo preparation, legal documentation, and post-closing oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and execution of structured finance transactions.
- Build detailed cash flow models and draft investment memoranda.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Asset Management, Finance, Accounting, and Loan Operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
- Identify and pursue new investment opportunities aligned with the firm's objectives.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structured finance loan originations, ideally with exposure to consumer credit underwriting and structuring.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative structuring solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly collaborative, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
