Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary: | Position Description: The Community Engagement Coordinator helps bring energy and visibility to the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's Idea Lab. This role supports students, faculty, and staff by coordinating programs, promoting events, and cultivating a welcoming environment where creativity and innovation thrive. Community Engagement Coordinators are key to building awareness of the Institute's initiatives and ensuring the Idea Lab is an active, inviting hub on campus. Community Engagement Coordinator responsibilities include:

| Additional Information: | The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an innovative driver of scholastic, educational, and professional development opportunities in the related areas of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the Villanova community. IIE has a multi-disciplinary and cross-college focus and seeks to advance the University's strategy by fostering cross-college learning and embedding entrepreneurial thinking more deeply in the Villanova culture. We believe that students from the Colleges of Professional Studies, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Nursing, Business, and Law can all learn from one another how to become more well-rounded innovative and creative thinkers. IIE fosters opportunities for this cross-disciplinary learning to occur. While student employment opportunities within IIE tend to be more challenging than what is typical, they're infinitely more rewarding. |
