- Commercial AV Sales Representative
Description
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our growing AV team. This is a perfect role for a sales professional with technical aptitude. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting and consulting to system design and proposal presentation. You will use a consultative approach to understand client challenges and design AV solutions that deliver real return on investment and excite our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultative Selling: Uncover client needs through stakeholder interviews and site surveys, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor focused on their business outcomes.
Solution Design & Proposal Development: Design innovative AV systems and develop accurate, profitable proposals and bids.
Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the process from initial lead generation and qualification to final proposal presentation, client acceptance and project handoff.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with end-user clients, manufacturer reps, and internal teams.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent and accurate sales pipeline, providing clear forecasts and reporting to sales leadership.
Market Development: Actively prospect and build our customer base in Southern Nevada, reviewing opportunities in outside areas as they come up.

Proven sales professional with 2+ years of experience in commercial AV sales or a closely related field (e.g., Audiovisual, Videoconferencing, and Digital Signage, Networking or Video Security markets, etc.).
1+ years of experience with AV system design and creating proposals. Familiarity with top Pro AV brands (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, etc.) is highly desirable.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and building lasting client relationships.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to demystify complex technology for non-technical audiences.
Experience selling Crestron, Extron, Harman Pro, Biamp, QSC, ClearOne, Cisco and other Pro AV brands
Have or can secure high level security clearances
Self-starter, highly organized, and proficient with modern sales and prospecting tools.
Highly Desirable: CTS certification, manufacturer certifications such as Crestron or Valcom, experience with D-Tools and Bluebeam software programs
