Description

Medication Aide Duties:

• Administer oral and topical medications safely and accurately.
• Observe and report medication reactions, errors, or refusals.
• Verify medications, ensure proper labeling, and follow disposal procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medication records.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacy staff.
• Participate in medication audits, quality assurance, and regulatory surveys.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs, weight, and input/output.
• Support residents during meals and hydration.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CNA and CMT certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CMT experience required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and assist in resident evacuations.
