Job Summary | The Markey Cancer Center (MCC), Kentucky's only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center, is seeking a detailed-oriented and experienced Clinical Research Lead for our Clinical Research Office (CRO). This position will be the lead for training within the MCC-CRO. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international regulations, facilitating smooth interactions with regulatory agencies, and supporting the successful execution of clinical trials. This individual is responsible for the development and management of training to support the organization's clinical research objectives. This individual will work with departmental and hospital leadership to develop and implement training programs to ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest requirements and best practices. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Comprehensive understanding of related scientific and clinical terminology. Ability to independently identify and problem-solve complex/non-routine problems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, strong oral/written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills required. Leadership, prioritization, and presentation skills required. Computer and application proficiency to include designing forms and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office applications, use of email, and use of the internet. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience. Research certification (SOCRA, ACRP, etc.) preferred. |
