Overview

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Clerk in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for acting in a key clerk role by providing administrative support to the Warehouse Operations by interacting with internal customers and completing vital warehouse paperwork with great detail and accuracy while being able to assist and flex to various warehouse departments.

Essential Functions

• Maintain warehouse quality records and update/maintain departmental metrics
• Responsible to follow all departmental procedures and comply with all safety standards and policies
• Interact with parcel, truckload and LTL carriers as needed
• Data entry into various computer systems and pull data required from reports or on-line systems
• Provide back-up for various warehouse functions and flex to various positions including clerical functions in Order Dispatch, any Warehouse/Distribution positions, or any other department within the warehouse
• COD manual notifications to customers and handle proof of delivery requests/follow-up
• Perform warehouse, picking and shipping functions as needed
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime
• Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin's Attendance Policy)
• Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
• Ability to safely/efficiently operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack depending on departmental responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong experience/aptitude with computers and familiarity with transportation practices

Desired Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or related experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Previous database experience including Microsoft Excel and Access
