Description Vitalant is hiring entry-level and experienced Clinical Laboratory Technicians to bring skilled technical support to our HLA laboratories. Whether you are a recent sciences graduate or an experienced Lab Specialist with a Certified Histotechnology Technician (CHT) certification, we have a position tailored to your skill level and experience.

What to Expect
Schedule/Location: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday
8:00 am - 4:30 pm (or 7:00 am start)

Requirements
Our ideal candidate:
- Is looking for meaningful work that connects you to your community.
- Thrives in a highly regulated environment with many rules and procedures. Your work will be closely monitored, and you are okay with that.
- Is curious about what goes on beyond the typing and testing side of the lab. You are looking for variety in your responsibilities each day.
- Perform high complexity testing in histocompatibility, including molecular typing, antibody testing, and flow cytometric crossmatching.
- Provide technical support to hospital transplantation services.
- Participates in sample preparation, reagent management, quality control, preventative maintenance and validations.
- Be patient and detailed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- CLIA requirements for high complexity testing required.
