Description

We seek applicants who can teach first and second-year undergraduate chemistry courses, oversee and facilitate undergraduate laboratory courses, and manage the department’s shared instrumentation, especially in our Lonnie McMillian NMR Facility. Preference will be given to candidates who have a broad background in chemical instrumentation and who can participate in externally funded research collaborations. The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry or closely related field and demonstrates a record of publications.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a potential for scholarship supported by external funding through contracts and grants. Opportunities exist for supervising students in our graduate programs in Chemistry, Biotechnology Science and Engineering, and Materials Science.
