Description
The Client Support Specialist reports directly to the Deputy Director. They are primarily responsible for direct client casework, data management, resource coordination, and program support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations to understand a client's needs, challenges, and strengths.
- Create personalized treatment plans that outline goals, interventions, and the necessary service providers.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and other stakeholders to track progress and address concerns.
- Regularly evaluate client progress against care plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain detailed case records, including client information, assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Identify and connect clients to relevant community resources like employment, vocational, and/or training programs.
- Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date online program databases
- Assist in gathering and reporting program data and analysis
- Manage and execute essential administrative and organizational tasks across programs
- Serve in the capacity of a Workforce Coach in the Career Academy
- Distribute and collect pre- and post-surveys and questionnaires
- Prepare program completion certificates.
- Represent the organization at community events
- Work with vendors, agency partners, volunteers, and internal team members while coordinating activities, responsibilities, resources, schedules/timelines for program and project deliverables
- Manage relationships with community partners, participants, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate in the evaluation of program effectiveness to develop and implement improved methods
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (a master’s is preferred) and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in client support or case management, OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
- Technological Proficiencies: Adobe, Canva, G Suite, and Office 365
- Have the required background clearance
- Must have a reliable car

- Microsoft Office 365 proficiency (i.e., Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, Planner, etc.)
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities

- Knowledge of community resources and service networks
- Ability to build rapport with clients and establish trust
