Description
The Client Strategy Team leads L&G’s multi-faceted client engagement efforts. Our top priority is to be trusted partners for our clients while serving as stewards to our long-term business success. Our client scorecard includes: 1) demonstrating our execution of investment excellence within client portfolios, 2) being client-led with a thorough understanding of client context (needs, objectives, priorities, preferences, constraints), and 3) expanding relationships with a solutions focus.
Client Strategists lead client servicing, distribution efforts, and other broader business development initiatives. They help mentor Analysts and Associates and work alongside with other Strategists as part of a dedicated relationship team, gathering, analyzing, and discussing economic issues, investment markets, and our firm views. They also can independently navigate, utilize, review, and enhance our systems for monitoring investment risk and modeling different asset and derivative strategies to match client objectives. Roles include directing the execution of all client deliverables across their client base. They are expected to be responsible for all client communications demonstrating a strong understanding of our investment capabilities, investment process, market views while also reflecting client context. They should have a holistic understanding of how to monitor and review LGIM America’s internal client data model to measure and manage our client engagement. Strategists should demonstrate a mastery of core quantitative and technical aspects of our investment capabilities and hone core client-facing skills. Strategists should also demonstrate and mentor junior colleagues on how to think like both enterprise and client stakeholders and craft messaging within this context. Strategists should be able to direct and lead all of their clients’ implementation changes, seamlessly navigating the entire process between the various LGIM America groups and the client. They will also attend and lead firm-wide training and professional development sessions.
