Overview
Epstein is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Civil site engineering team for the design and plan production of greenfield or brownfield site improvement projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use located throughout the country. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of civil engineering design experience. All candidates must understand the project management process from inception through completion. We are looking for a strong technical leader with financial project management experience including scheduling, contract control, budget and cost control. Supervisory experience with groups of technical staff is a plus. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive and will have experience specific to private development. This position requires candidates to design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually.

Requirements
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
-Licensed Professional Engineer
-8+ years of successful project experience
-Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
-Experienced Mentor, capable of training and guiding Staff Engineers
-Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including 3D surface and pipe design modeling
-Solid knowledge of design standards, planning production procedures, and specifications
-Ability to provide technical guidance throughout the design process, often serving as the reviewer of calculations and plans
-Experience assisting in the preparation of permit applications for applicable jurisdictional agencies.
-Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic design is preferred, including familiarity with sewer pipe and detention basin design using PondPack and/or Hydroflow.
-Having knowledge of 1D and 2D modelling in HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, and ICM is a plus.
-Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and understand the interrelationship of the various elements of design
