Are you a seasoned aviator with a passion for leadership, safety, and service? We’re seeking a dynamic Chief Pilot to lead our flight operations and elevate our aviation program to new heights. This is more than a cockpit role—it’s a strategic leadership opportunity to shape and deliver world-class flight experiences.

As our Chief Pilot, you’ll be the cornerstone of our aviation culture, combining hands-on flying with operational oversight, mentorship, and innovation.

We are a privately owned organization, our Aviation department provides services to our owner/CEO, his family and our real estate division.  

The role offers a highly attractive schedule, with reduced flight demands that allow for greater focus on strategic oversight and ensuring the department consistently operates at a high level—supporting both operational excellence and a sustainable work schedule.

Your Mission

Inspire & Lead: Mentor and lead a professional pilot, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence: Oversee flight operations, ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and internal standards.
Safety First: Champion SOPs and SMS programs to maintain the highest safety benchmarks.
Stay in the Sky: Remain active in the cockpit, flying both domestic and international missions.
Optimize Resources: Manage pilot schedule and flight readiness.
Collaborate & Coordinate: Partner with maintenance and vendors to support inspections, audits, and aircraft readiness.
Compliance Mastery: Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and flight hour documentation.
Strategic Partner: Work closely with leadership to align aviation goals with company vision and requirements.
Customer-Focused Culture: Promote professionalism and exceptional service at every touchpoint.

Requirements

What You Bring

10,000+ total flight hours, including:5,000 hours in turbine aircraft
5,000 hours as Pilot in Command
FAA First Class Medical & Commercial Pilot Certificate
Challenger 604 type rating (preferred)
5+ years in corporate aviation, with global flight experience
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Deep knowledge of FAA regulations and SMS programs
Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor
Valid, unrestricted passport
Bonus Points

Bachelor’s degree
Track record of building a high-performing department
Technically savvy with a proactive, hands-on leadership style
