We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Certified Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, properly handling and restraining animals, placing IV catheters, drawing and running bloodwork, client education, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive team player. The veterinary industry is continuously growing and advancing, and at Pine City Animal Hospital we believe in supporting our staff to do the same. - Certified Veterinary Technician, license must be current
- 1+ years of veterinary experience
- Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Experience with proper animal restraint and handling
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive team-player willing to continue to learn
The CVT position requires availability during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday Rotation: Every third Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may vary slightly based on clinic needs. Candidates must be available for occasional additional hours to cover for team members or during busy periods.

Compensation for the CVT position is looking to start at $20/hr based on experience and work ethic.
