Highlights

• Flat daily rate; no tracking hours or callbacks

Practice Setting

• Level III trauma center
• 2 CVORs, 5 cath labs, 20-bed CVICU
• Full hospital and clinic support
• Cerner EMR

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 7a-5p hospital coverage
• Friday-Monday: 24/7 weekend call
• Clinic coverage optional later in the assignment

Cases and Procedures

• CABG, TAVR, thoracic aortic, and off-pump
• Endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting (by RNFAs)
• Expanding minimally invasive program
• TEE and emergent coverage required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active California license required
• ACLS, DEA

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage fully covered
