BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, INDUSTRIAL PROJECTPosition : Business Development Manager
Reporting to : Head of Industrial Projects
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on Industrial Projects. The ideal candidate will identify strategic customers within assigned industry sectors, develop sustainable relationships, and implement strategies for profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage with strategic customers, fostering long-term relationships.
• Lead meetings and sales visits to present company capabilities.
• Generate and develop new sales leads.
• Conduct market profiling and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Develop effective pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth.
• Achieve customer business targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate customer requests and services.
• Understand customer needs to secure new business and enhance satisfaction.
• Oversee the development of competitive responses to inquiries (RFI, RFQ, RFP).
• Analyze complex tender requirements and coordinate stakeholder involvement for proposal submissions.
• Manage customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Implement business development plans to achieve growth and revenue targets.
• Analyze the competitive landscape to identify sector opportunities.
• Provide insights to the Country IP Head for business performance evaluations.
• Develop commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support the Country IP Head in refining the overall Business Development strategy.
• Maintain effective communication across functions.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE procedures and actively participate in QHSE programs.
• Innovate and enhance business development methods and techniques.
• Monitor customer communication for commercial and operational matters.
• Recommend best practices for commercial and operational excellence.
• Maintain and utilize a customer database for targeted outreach.
• Coordinate sales efforts with inside sales teams.
• Travel for meetings and operational matters as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Freight Forwarding/Project Logistics, with at least 5 years at a management level.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of respect for others.

- Commercial acumen, including sales forecasting and pricing strategies

- Strong presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
