Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Able to perform all essential Business Development Coordinator responsibilities.
- Support division/assigned business area sales goals, monitor and report progress.
- Assist market analysis and research to identify shifts in trends.
- Maintain strong partnerships and relationships with existing and new clients.
- Engage with clients, introduce construction services, and follow up to explore opportunities.
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings, site visits, proposal meetings, etc.
- Maintain client contact database and Client Relationship Management tracking systems updated.
- Assist with tracking leads using various bid platforms and identifying market opportunities.
- Assist teams with RFP's, RFQ's, SOQ's, and preparing letters of interest.
- Prepare proposals, presentation graphics, client deliverables, and assist with proposal/BD activities as necessary.
- Assist with creating Business Development /Marketing collateral including promotional literature, project sheets, newsletters, mailers, and in house news releases.
- Coordinate and support executing campaigns including social media, brand visibility, internal/external public relations, and other related initiatives.
- Coordinate and support internal/external events and initiatives as directed.
- Organize special marketing events such as video tapings, exhibits, seminars, open houses, client parties, and charity events - coordinate photography for promotional purposes.
- Attend conferences, network functions, and industry related events to generate leads.
- Participate in business development meetings, support reports, and data management.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
- College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, public relations in the construction industry or related field
- Knowledge of A/E/C industry a plus
- CRM (client relationship management) platform experience, a plus but not a requirement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Understanding of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing principles.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with various teams on multiple projects simultaneously
- Takes ownership of assignments with commitment to best practices, high quality, and completion.
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication skills, including business writing, and professional telephone manner.
- A reliable, dependable, resourceful, professional with flexibility.
