The Learning Tree is a private nonprofit organization, founded in 1983 by two former public school teachers. Today, more than 40 years later, The Learning Tree serves hundreds of children and families from across the state of Alabama and the southeast region of the United States. The Learning Tree is widely known for exemplary services for children who engage in severely challenging behavior.
Job description
Our BCBAs company-wide work closely with teams of professionals to create and develop quality behavioral interventions for the individuals that we serve. We welcome applications from people who currently hold either a BCBA or BCaBA credential, or who will be eligible for certification within 90 days.
Residential and Educational Programs
- We provide services in both community-based residential and school/educational environments
- We offer specialized and individualized support for individuals, adolescent to adult, with significant behavior challenges and a wide range of diagnoses
Behavior Analysts in this program
- Assess, create, and implement ABA interventions that focus on helping individuals become more independent and successful in their local communities
- Manage and work with a skilled team of instructional, healthcare, and education professionals

Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Minimum of Master's Degree in Psychology or Education, certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst; minimum of one year's experience with developmental disabilities; Good driving record preferred.
